The Starlight Symphony Orchestra is proud to announce winners of the 2005 Young Artist Competition. Alela Hein, a 15-year-old homeschooled junior from Driftwood Texas is joined by Lily Skipper, a 16-year-old senior from Wimberley High School, as the first winners of the Starlight Symphony Orchestra's Young Artist Competition.

The two winners will be featured soloists for the Starlight Symphony Orchestra's spring concerts.

Adela Hein will perform the first movement from the Mozart Violin Concerto No. 5 in A Major and Lily Skipper will perform the Meditation from Massenet's Thaïs.

Performance dates: Saturday, February 26th, 7:30 p.m. at the Hays Performing Arts Center in Kyle, and Sunday, February 27, 2:30 p.m. at the Chapel of the Hills Fellowship Hall, Wimberley.
